Beginning Embroidery at The Sewing Room
This class is perfect for the beginner! In this class you will learn the ins-and-outs of how to embroider including threading an embroidery needle, tying a knot, and all the stitches needed to complete a kit of your choosing.
Cost includes a kit ($28 value!) and all supplies needed to complete the workshop. Students may pick from kits we have on hand. You can come in and choose one early if you like!

Beginning Embroidery Mandala with Hello Stitch
In this beginning embroidery class you will learn the tips and tricks of embroidery that are not written about in books. You will learn tried and true techniques for threading a needle, tying a knot, and how to keep your thread from tying itself in knots as you embroider! Included in class is a kit with all instructions to complete a beautiful geometric mandala. You will be instructed how to transfer a design to fabric and complete the following stitches: Woven Wheel, Stem, Chain, buttonhole, French Knot, and Herringbone. Join us as we delve into this ancient and healing art.
