Guys Guys Guys!!!!

My work is on The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast!!!!

This podcast has brought me great joy. Listening to these 4 friends just trying to make each other laugh has been good for my soul. To be mentioned on it is a thrill! I wear this patch proudly.

My little bit is minutes 27:30 to 29:05.

They show the patch and also the whole jacket for context.

Frocktails at the Savoy Tivoli in San Francisco September 13, 2025

I had a blast doing classes at Frocktails last Saturday!  Many thanks to Onna Schwindt for all her help and Melissa Shew for organizing and coordinating.  It was a little loud but if the event is there next year we found a back room behind the stage that is nice and quiet.  We had 80 spots and they were filled so quickly!  Lot's of great stitchers. Also, next year we will include a beading lesson along with embroidery taught by Onna Schwindt!

July 2025 - CA State Fair Competition

I entered the 2025 California State fair in Sacramento. I was thrilled to take home 1st place in non-counted embroidery and Best in Division! I went to the ribbon ceremony and really enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful work people do in California. The standards are very high and I was proud to be a part of this long standing tradition.

March 27, 2025

Thanks to the recommendation of Jennifer at the Sewing Room in Alameda I was asked to teach a 101 course at the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek. The show was called STITCHED: Contemporary Embroidery and it was amazing! 19 artists invited from all over the world and all so very different.

The class was sold out with 25 people attending. I couldn’t have done it without my assistant Onna Schwindt. I loved teaching in the gallery itself. I hope I get the opportunity to do it again!
