Magic - Hand Embroidery with cotton floss on Vietnam era American Army Jacket

This is a journal jacket celebrating the magic that was happening at the time in my life. The calendar on the center back marks the solstice and equinox holidays and how I spent them. The hugging figure is a motif I use a lot with permission from Alexander Hernandez, a wonderful fiber artist I met at the San Francisco School of Needlework and Design.
